Queen’s homecoming has got to be one of the most unique things I’ve ever seen. It was quite the sight to see hundreds of alumni with different coloured jackets and tams walking around campus. The engineers rushed the football field at half time, as expected, and there was an alumni parade. There was a lot of drinking, partying, etc. and Aberdeen street was, as is apparently usual, flooded with thousands of people and covered in smashed bottles. Fortunately, things seemed for the most part peaceful, possibly due to the increased police presence.
