FIRST Blogs Stuff

Well, I’m ready for select people to start testing some of the new FIRST Blogs features. For those of you who read this blog, Here’s a sneak peak at one feature (topics for organisation). Those of you who have been invited to test the new stuff can create your own topic / reading list (which has an RSS feed associated with it, too), so, you can choose only those blogs/topics you’re interested in and subscribe to them all at once. If anyone wants in on the testing let me know.

I can hardly wait…

I can hardly wait for Orientation Week (again). The images from the slideshows definitely make me miss Kingston. I’m part way through the process of getting the content from the common section of the frosh guide into HTML so that I can post it. The site I’m working on is 1st on Google again, which is nice (for a while it had fallen to third place or so).

What’s Been Happening

Since my last update I’ve started full time work throughout the week. I’ve written my first essay for English 110 (I faxed it in on Wednesday). I’ve been working on the Queen’s Orientation Week 2006 website (at the time of my writing this the new copy isn’t up yet; but, I have submitted it to be posted). COMPSA stuff is going well; though, it’s difficult to do certain types of things when I’m not in Kingston. I haven’t made much progress on the FIRST Blogs TODO list; but, hopefully will this long weekend.
