World Cup 2006 in ASCII

I came across this today at work: World Cup 2006 Live in ASCII art. It’s actually ridiculously entertaining (and I don’t normally watch soccer). It’s fun when random things like that are linked to from the sites that I actually need to read for work.

A bit behind / Course Schedule

I’ve been a bit behind in things (e.g. my correspondence course). I’m almost caught up now, though; I’ve just got a couple of things by Alexander Pope to read (plus the corresponding course notes) and then I’m caught up for this week.

As for schedule goodness; course schedules went up Friday. Assuming I get what I’m going to try registering for my courses next year will be:

  • CISC322* - Software Architecture
  • CISC324* - Operating Systems
  • CISC325* - Human-Computer Interaction
  • CISC327* - Software Quality Assurance
  • CISC332* - Database Management Systems
  • CISC340* - Digital Systems
  • CISC365* - Algorithms I
  • CISC425* - Advanced User Interface Design
  • ECON111*S - Micro Economics
  • COMM251*S - Organizational Behaviour

Mom’s Website

My mother’s website is up now. It’s Marion’s Doll Clothes (she’s been updating it a little bit each day for the past couple of weeks). Today I set it up to use Paypal for her and did a test purchase from my account. The site is powered by Zen Cart, which is a nifty free Open Source shopping cart thing. So, with that site up and running (and Mom being able to do maintenance) that’s one big thing off my TODO list. If you’re interested in hand made doll clothes or fabric that can be purchased by the meter I suggest you check it out (of course, I’m obviously biased :-)).
